Dr. Bernice Heffern

I chose the career of veterinary medicine after the influence of my grandmother who decided it would be a good career for me. After graduating from Atlantic Veterinary College of UPEI in 1991 I started my career as a Veterinarian at Gander Veterinary Clinic.

I have a special interest in internal medicine.

Over the years, one thing I’ve come to appreciate about working here is that I have met some very nice people both as co-workers and clients.

A fun fact about me is that in my spare time I’m a NONIA knitter.
